I curiously searched "Wheel of Time" in YouTube, and suprisingly found some interesting stuff. This one in particular caught my eye. Well done! (I've never played/seen the PC game, so I don't know if this is from that or not)
Go ahead and post things you find randomly all over the web (that are related to WoT of course)

i remeber teh Wheel of time game, it didn't really have a lot to do with the books and wasn't that great a game. I remeber when NBC got the rights for eye of th world, but they never did anything with it

We'd have to get someone like Epic to get on that project. Or else it wouldn't hold up - just be sub-par to everything else on the market.

The game is placed 100 years or something like that before the books and I think this is a good thing to create a whole new story than trying to make a computer game out of the story in the books. The way they handled the magic system as ok. Basically the WoT magick system is to free to be easy to represent in a computer game and the solution was reasonable nice. The story in the game I think was very good. I would have preferred something other than a first person shooter. But all in all I love this game. It is among my 10 favorites when it comes to computer games.

Well given the gameing tech today compaired to what it was when the WoT PC game was released. I think a new game based on the books would work. You could show the weaves instead of haivng the shooter style the original game was. The physics and logic systems these new games use now are more than capiable of handeling it. and lets facce it PC's as well as consoles are much more powerfull now in both processers and memory. And given the length of most of the RPG style games now they could work in the entirity of the WoT Books. Main story with all the little side missions yeah it could easily be done. And to make it more interesting you get characters to pick from, from the main cast, so you only follow their storys. so to complete the game you have to finish each characters story.
thoughts?

i Love the Idea, i think it would work ALOT better then a Movie, in respect to storie telling, and charecter development, in a movie u only get what at the max 3 hours 2 tell the story and develop the charectors, in a game you can have it go for as long as you want ASLONG as its entertaining, but hey its WOT it IS entertaining, ingrossing and mind twistingly complex. Elayne shits me tho.

But you're forgetting, probably more than 1/2 of a book (and that probably is a conservative estimate) is full of descriptions of the animals, scenery, characters, and there gear and w/e i didn't mention, as well as setting up the dialog like, he walked towards her and he spoke, "blah blah blahblahblah shabbalabba dingdong" she gasps, "shoopdaloop rimmbimmbiimmm bummmmbooooo." So with all of that no longer in play you could easily fit an entire book into 3 hours (maybe 3 1/2). The only reason Harry Potter books didn't have everything in them was because those things were fricken huuuuuuuge. So yeah.
