This is my first try at drawing anything. Can anybody give me some advice on getting the eyes looking like eyes? What do you think of the rest generally? Any advice on improving it? I know I need more practice, but that will come in time, hopefully! :D

you've got the general idea of drawing eyes from a profile view. And the head looks proportioned enough, the hair looks a bit plain, like its all one big piece. And the brow seems to come out really far from the bridge of his nose. I couldn't show you how to do eyes without drawing them XD
