Well I've been engaged for a few weeks now and talk of wedding plans has filtered into my conversations with the fiance, to which we will refer to as Falken in this thread (his online name).
The wedding is currently plan for the May-ish season in 2006. We'd like an outdoor wedding, and surprisingly small. I used to want a massive wedding where the actual ceremony was open to public and anyone and everyone could come and watch me being married ot the most incredible man in the universe. But when it comes down to, it's only those real important and close people who watched you two mature as a couple that really matter.
So far I have my Prima (online name, and real nickname) being the Maid of Honour and I don't want any other bride's maids. Falken will be having CuJo (nickname), his best friend, as the best man. We are also thinking of using Falken's neice as the flower girl, we will have no ring boy.
We have over a year to plan, so we have no rushes. :)

Well that last sentance in my last post certainly doesn't apply anymore. Last night Falken and I were chatting about the wedding and up came the question: "What if we got married this summer"
So guess what? WE'RE GETTING MARRIED THIS SUMMER!! Maybe, maybe. If someone can present to us a VERY GOOD reason why getting amrried this summer wold be bad, then we will think it over again. If not, the date stands as June 5th.
The people attending has been cut down to 15 maximum, and we'd like to have the wedding on the beaches of Bermuda.

I've found a place for my wedding. A nice outdoors garden located in "mid-town" Toronto. Visit Estates of Sunnybrook (http://www.estatesofsunnybrook.com) for more information and pcitures, I'll be renting the McLean House. Our wedding will take place on the 12th of June in the year of 2005. :)
So we have an appointment to go look at the place with an advisor next week, and we will be introduced to the caterer and the DJ and all that jazz.
I'm calling my Prima tonight and informing her that she will be my maid of honour and that she needs to waddle her ass on back here to help me. That and to get her dress made.
I've also found the perfect veil for my dress and everything shall be ordered within next week.
Phew, this is fun. :)

Here are two bad quickly done sketchs of what I remmebr of my wedding dress. The back has those two long stips of sheer cloth that hang and drag as long as the train on the dress. The entire dress is made of this shimmering flowy material. The front is gathered and covered in glistening beads.

Well, not too much has happened. I found and bought (or rather she did) the dress for my Maid of Honour. It's a pastel blue colour, very pretty and in a way matches my dress.
The photographer has kept in touch with me and he seems eager to do my wedding. He even offered to come meet me somewhere to discuss his portfolio. He sounds young, which in a way I like. I'm not worried about quality, considering the price, and the recomondations I got.
The contract for the ceremony and reception location has been signed and faxed, which makes the official date of my wedding: June 5th. Yay!
My next goal is to find a pair of shoes and hopefully a tiara. I'm a little hesitant on the tiara considering I want to talk with my stylist to find a hairdo and match a tiara. Also I've decided instead of buying one with fake stones, I'll rent one for the morning and see if I can have real diamonds! :D
But now I'm stumped on something: Should I buy a new jewelry set for my wedding? Hm.

Well I've finally taken and developed a picture of my engagement ring. It's a white gold band, with three little Diamonds leading up on either side of the Saphires on either side of the Diamond. And you can't see it, but on the sides of the Saphires there's a little twirly design.

Well it looks like our plan to cruise from Turkey to Spain is canceled. We didn't know tht each year they change the cruise course. This means looking for another. Problem : we dont' like the other ones. I suggested to my fiance that we "create our own cruise". Plot places on a map and go from place to place. As of now we like flying into London and then taking the train to Spain, then up to France, down Italy to Greece. I hope we can get that. :)
