So this will from now on, be my art-posting thread, and most of what I'll post here will either be illustrations from a novel I'm writing, WoT illustration or plain fantasy. Hope you like!

The forst one is a illustration from my book. A princess. The second a fortress from my book: Fossefalls-fortet (Waterfall-fortress), and the third I'll guess you'll recognise... and about his clothes... well, don't ask me that.

Yay, I was wondering when you would start to post your art. I have browsed a bit through the Art Gallery to see if you had submitted something but I came out rather short of results.

It is great to see your art as usual. You have great skills with pencil and I envy the way you have such a grasp on anatomy and landscape. Two things I don't have as you might see from my kinda abstract drawings. :D

I really liked Princess Aruni (?). You have avoided that cliché fair-maiden-type of princess and rather gone for a more casual and natural look. good job on the costume and the shading.

Beatiful fortress. Classic design, but it works! I like the idea of having a fortress built on waterfalls, has a lot of visual potential.
Only thing that buggers me a bit is where the water comes from on top of a mountain... :P

Mat Cauthon. One of the most enjoyable characters in WoT. Very dynamic pose and nice anatomy. I like the way your style makes people look sleepy or bored, it's very amusing.
I won't ask about why he's only in his PJ's, but I'd like to point out that I think the spear might be a bit too short... But that might just be me and my drawing style. I like to exaggerate.

Keep up the good work! ^^

Well, I planned to make the ashandarei look like a normal naginata (japanese hallberd), and you're right; in that case it is too short, but RJ like to describe Matt Cauthon using his weapon so it's a 'blur', and for that you cannot use to big weopons, and besides: the drawing wheren't planned to me Matt Cauthon, it just started out as a doodle, but slowly turned into thye fella. One of those strange powers called faith;)

hehe, i agree with malkah...he does look kinda hobbitishi like the perspective on your fortress...just a suggestion, but if u shade with the cross-contours of the objects, it really helps them appear more three dimensional, but it looks pretty cool
