Alright, this one contains a little nudity. Well okay alot, she's only covered by cloth, sue me. There's a funny story behind this one. For some reason I simply couldn't get the porportions or angle correct, so I had to run and pose in the mirror (in my underwear to get the angel of skin right) and run back and draw a bit more. My roomate came in half way through and laughed at me. Her punishment was to pose for me. :D

This drawing is from a story I was writing. Never finished the story though. Pencil drawn. Perhaps I should explain a bit more. It's a girl and all those axtra hands are actually "the wind's fingers". So um, it's a windy day?

Nudity. Topless anyways. So here's a girl who is topless in the water. It's sorta light, so some lines may be hard to see. There's ripples around her skirt and water running off her fingers. And yes, the moon isn't a perfect circle. Arg.

Alright, this one is nice, I think. The one thing I'm very proud is that I never looked at anything to reference. Not myself, not another picture, nothing. I sat down, stared at the paper and drew it. I actually quite like it. :D

Mitz :: My favourite part about creating art is to hear people like you appreciate it and enjoy it. No really I'm serious. Whenever I create something I love hearing people say it's beautiful, and it inspires me to create more.

Photography is one of my favourite forms because I'm able to capture the beauty within my subject. I really feel that everyone and anyone can be beautiful, they just have to feel it. I was telling Mes a while ago, I love having people come to me for advice on their appearance. I try my best to have them be able to look in the mirror and say to themselves "I look like a goddess!", then it's always pleasurable to take pictures. They sparkle and shine better than any supermodel out there. It's also why more fun. ;)

But enough of me rambling, I just got captured in the moment. ;)

The past two pictures of the white flowers or one of my favourite. I love how the sun was barely coming through the leaves of the trees above us and seemed to make the white glow. When I took the picture it accented it even more than what I saw with my eyes.

Well I found a girl who was willing to let me take her photograph and airbrush it to my liking. I've airbrushed over the entire photo, so nothing original is left (only the basic idea). Took over a day and well I hope you like it. This is to say my first real airbrushing work. :blush:

It started with me being a bit bored and not having any new pics to play with. So while looking through my collection of celebrity pictures I came across this one of Lima. It immediately reminded me of a scene I had once seen in either a comic book or anime. A scene where female robots hung/sat in windows waiting to be bought. I think it may have been the anime Chobits. Her pose and even the vacant look in her eyes really made me think of a robot sitting in a window for display so I decided to stop being bored and give it a shot.

I tried a couple colours on her hair but the purple was the most eerie and mechanical looking. With her hair purple, her eyes didn't look as vacant so I really lightened them up a bunch so they would look kind of glassy.

I had added bar codes and other gadgets over her skin but then felt like she looked more like a warrior robot than a female companion. So I removed everything and simply left the head piece. Then I made some nonsense phrase to stick on the window, made the shadow that would be on her from the street lights and made the illumination from a single bulb above her. Then I remembered that whenever you look at glass you can always see a reflection of whatever is on the other side, so the hunt for the perfect street scape began. Thirty minutes later I was sick of looking and decided to go with the one that is there.

And that was how that was created. The end.

Well a good camera is key. Digital or not (I use digital). Now it doesn't have to be a $5000 camera or anything (I have an NV10). since I use photoshop alot, I simply needed high mega-pixels, and a good flash will do wonders. I do the rest of lighting and focus with photoshop. It's cheaper than buying an expensive camera with tons of features. ;)

A tip for using flash, pointing the flash directly at someone's face will show every wrinkle, bead of sweat, pore, etc. they have. Try bouncing the light off of the ceiling (if it's white only), or point the flash straight up and using a rubber band secure a white notecard behind it. This will reflect the light into the model's face without making them "shiny". And it's not as expensive as buy some doo-dad for the same result. :D

And over to the commentary about tam's pics.
I understand that a person with enough social intelligence to make a stereotypical swamp-living redneck look like a gentleman would, with a casual glance and no reading involved, find Tam's art egosentrical. But if you read, and look closely enough, you find that it isn't necessary the motive, but the compositioin and finished product that is the art. It could easily have been of someone even you would've found attractive, but it happens that in this case, it is of this forum's beloved Tamuril.
And she even stated the reason of why she posted one finished piece in each post, with a wonderful commentary I might add, so that you wouldn't necessarily be offended by the sheer number of posts done by her and with pictures of her in them.

Now, you will probably come with some degoratory terms both questioning my gender and sexuality. Know that I am aware of the fact that this is "teh intarnetz", and I can't really care about what a person that just pops into another person's art-thread and starts slinging insults at anything that moves might have to say. In the case that you would've popped in, and said something like "I don't find this very good. but each one for his own, eh?", and mayhaps stated why you didn't like it, noone would've batted an eyelash.

I apologize for the long post in your thread tam, and I hope you don't think less of me:)

I'm stressed. Or was, am, blah. My brother and sister -in-laws were getting a divorce and my living situation was going ignored (I live on the property). I did try to take some pictures of the new hair colour, but due to the colour being only temporary and me having other things on my mind, the colour started really washing out before I had a chance. I managed to photoshop the colour somewhat back into my hair for a few snap shots.

Okay so... I don't remember what I was doing when I took this, but I ended up liking it accidentally. At first I didn't really like it but the lighting and eyeshadow reminded me of a "tired-after-the-show-show-girl". Err, or something to that extent. Anyways I'm sure you can tell my hair's faded to more of a red than purple.

Edit: Oh! I remember now... I was trying to do "the smokey eye".

That's the one nice thing about living in the boondocks, nature. We actually took those picture at my mother-in-law's quarter section. We take the dogs there every Saturday and just run around and have a picnic. :)

Just went through and cleaned up/merged my art thread. Man some of this stuff is old...can you believe I was 18 when I started this?? Ha, I look back at some pictures and thing "god that's awful". lol

I left the comments that go back about a year and removed the ones older than that. Makes it easier to see the pictures.
