comic-con rocked, but the signing was bulllshit. He didn't even have stuff that he signed. We had to bring or buy the books. And by buy, I mean buy them from this one stand that charged 32 bucks for ther normal books and 23 bucks for New Srping. bullshit....

Thats the way that book signings usually are. If a book was just released, you have to buy the new book in order to even get in line to have him sign it. If you dont purchase a book, then you can't have him sign anything you bring either.

I had to buy a copy of the stupid RPG game book in order for him to sign my copy of Winter's Heart. So I have an autographed copy of the RPG book and Winter's Heart when I didn't even want the RPG book.

Ahhh signings.... well they DO wanna make sure you are a fan I guess... I mean if you just came up with nothing expecting to get a signature to auction off on e-bay thats kinda not nice I guess...

Also what booth was your friends dad at Lan Sam??

When Rj came to Spokane I brought my own book and they just put a sticker on it that showed I didnt buy the book there. Also he would only sign two things and he wouldnt personalize any of them.

What a champ. I'm glad I skipped out on last year's Virginia signing.

Yeah the book signing I went to, he didn't personalize anything. But if you wanted more than two things signed you had to wait until after everyone else had gone through. I had Winter's Heart and Crossroads of Twilight signed. RJ answered all of the questions asked of him though. I asked where he served in Vietnam. He was on a river boat, so he ended up at all of the major bases.

He was very talkative at my signing too and friendly.

actually, my friend's dad didn't actually have a booth but he bought two executive passes. I didn;t even end up going with his dad, i went with my brother and dad and we cheated (sort of. we really just fooled the dumbasses working there) so they both got in free. it was awesome.
my friend's pap own Legend films and Off-color films. we advertised for the colorization of reefer madness by wering shrts.
