female concept sketches [Archive]

just tryin out some stuff in opencanvas. trying to get a feel for inking with a large brush, and being able to smoothly move between thick and thin lines.

i also don't draw women enough, for the dresses, i used google to find anything i didn't know how to draw. i made one drawing of a basic female figure and then drew over it each time.

The Brigette one looks really nice, like its no doubt who that is and stuff

Wow, those are really awesome.

One thing ... er ... they're all in the same exact stance. Try some action poses or new stances =] I think thats a good pose for Aveindha and Birgitte, but girls in dresses don't often stand like that.
