I've decided to start a thread to put all the site updates in, basically, whatever goes on the homepage as news will go here... 'cause I know some lovely people don't go to the homepage *left eye twitches* But that's ok. :D

5-12-2004: We now have a collective reading forum where members can participate in group reading and discussions of selected books. If you have any suggestions for books to added to the list, please drop the Collective Reading Forum (http://www.wotism.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=68).
5-10-2004: Added a link to the English to Old Tongue dictionary in the comprehensive links (http://www.wotism.net/links_general.html) (thanks Beowulf!). Also added the great Channeler Strength (http://www.wotism.net/glossary/strengthofchannelers.html) info provided by Jaric Mondoran to the glossary.

I've added parts of Dreg's guide to theory posting and DL's newbie guide to the forum F.A.Q. I had to make a few edits here and there, but not too many changes. :) It's been added at the bottom of the F.A.Q page.

Just out of curiousity, there is a post there, or whatever you would call it in the faq, that says unwritten rules of wotism, wouldn't they be considered written rules now that they are in a faq and a sticky. just wondering.

I thought about that after I added it, that they were no longer unwritten after DL made his newbie guide...but I just liked calling them unwritten rules. It's easy to change, just don't know what to call them, maybe 3 simple rules of wotism. :)

No actually I like them being called unwritten rules even though they are really written (or typed) rules it is funnier that way, I was just curious as to whether it was intentional.

sorry for double posting. I can get into everything now. Our internet was screwed up somehow. I would have put this into Problems but it was locked out until now as well.

Actually it might not be you, our sql server was having issues (makes any page that is a php give page can not be displayed). I think it's fixed now, but we'll see.

The SQL server for wotism is STILL having problems, which means when it has to be restarted the site may be down for up to 30 minutes. :grumbles: I need to hurry up and upgrade my DSL so I can run the site from my house, so when something goes wrong with the server I can get my dad's 12 gauge and SHOOT IT!

dont realy know if this is the right thread but:

in peoples profile there is a text that says something like: this person is not meber of a public group, or something like that, Is this "group function" availeble in this forum and if so, can you make one yoursealf or do you ask the all gracious admingod(jean) ;)

if its a possibility could you make a Voy a cumer tus ninos group? :D

If you go to your user cp, look at the bottom of the column of options and you should see group memberships, you can select it from there. :)
