The author the the novelization of Episode III has been released. From starwars.com:
New York Times bestselling author Matthew Woodring Stover will write an original novel based on the upcoming Star Wars movie, Episode III. Though the publication date is yet to be announced, Del Rey Books (a division of Ballantine Books) is expected to release the hardcover novelization in time for the film's theatrical debut in the summer movie season of 2005.
Ballantine's sister Random House Inc. companies abroad will publish this new Star Wars novel throughout the English-speaking world simultaneously with Ballantine's publication. The companies include Random House UK, Random House Australia, Random House New Zealand, Random House South Africa, and in Canada, Ballantine Books. I actually picked up the novelization for Epsiode II, was easy light reading to say the least, but it did have a bit more insight into the story. :shattered

Books tend to be better than movies anyway.
I just finished reading the novel based on the Spiderman 2 movie. The book was great, and the movie should do well at the Box Office.
Of coourse the Movie will do well. The villian is Doc Oc, one of the coolest Spidey Villians. From the previews they're not going the way of Superman and Batman.

That reminds me of someone in my class. She asked me what D-Day was all about. I blame our government. Its Kleins fault!
Of course, the movie was different from the books. They didn't have Elrohir or Elladan. *tries to find other important things that were missed* hmmm

Oh my gosh. Some people amaze even me.
And A d' A, the story picks up about 2 yrs. after the 1st Spiderman. Mary Jane is dating J. Jonah Jameson's son, John Jameson. Harry has become a drunken obsessed maniac. And Peter is trying to balance his life with being Spidey. Long story short. Spidey saves the day.

I have the novels of Episode one and Episode two, so I'll probly get the third one just to complete the set. I got the first one cause i couldn't wait a week for the movie to come out. I got the second one cause I didn't have anything to read. They where both better than the movies in my opinion, though lightsaber fight are always better seen than read.

Me too. I guess I just take it on faith that people who like the movies must have been fans of the books before, or at least after.

Think I'll stear this thread back on topic because the title for the last Star Wars movie was released this weekend at ComicCon: Revenge of the Sith. Sounds better than Attack of the Clones. :D

Sounds decent to me. It makes sense too, considering what's going to happen.

Is it just me or does "Revenge of the Sith" sound eerily familiar to "The Empire Strikes Back"

Actually it sounds very similar to the original tittle of Return of the Jedi(which was Revenge of the Jedi).
