Monday night i was up untill about 4 or 4:30 working on a project for english. I had writers block, so after a burned through an enitre box of matches and inhaled a few revolting energy drinks, i fig i would just start writing.. and it became this.. (well not exactally i edited it in geo but..) :

Caffeine

My mind races as the caffeine kicks in
Words, thoughts, ideas
Flow out of my fingers at ridiculous speeds
So many of the combinations don’t makes sense
But I revel in the joy of the words

Sleep is far from me tonight
Any attempt to grasp it would be useless
The elation of the night surrounds me
Other people of the dark hurl words at me
Which infiltrate my soul through the cracks in my being

Any coherent thoughts elude me
My goals on this night are unmet
My conscience wails over things undone,
But all the words I type seem inconsequential
Horrendous concoctions of words escape my notice

Time matters not here…
And only one thought plagues my mind….
Where did all the caffeine go?

Freak. ;-)

Really, it's quite good. I found myself wanting to read faster because of how it was written. Very nice. It's hard to get that sort of effect when writing, to get your reader feeling like he/she's there (or in this case: that he/she has had too much caffeine).

Try just one cup of coffee from where I work, and you will have that feeling for many, many hours. Eat a full can of coffee grounds, now imagine all of that in just one cup. woaa

Well actually, pot is wendy's choice ;) :p

And nothing rocks the caffeine world more than Chocolate Covered Coffee Beans.... mmmm....

Here I sit in a fog of mental blank my mind not reacting to the stimuli that is in front of me that tries to stimulate but just adds to the fog which surrounds my head.
In front of me I place my last hope in this quest a goblet filled with an elixir that I hope will guide me through this endless fog of confusion and nonunderstanding.
Hot and brown and slightly viscous my self made potion of life with enough caffeine in it to kill a small child or equivalent to a keg of my blessed addictive Coca Cola.
I slowly imbibe my dangerous concoction the bitterness refreshing as my mouth is numb and the pleasant feeling as the brownness oozes down my esophagus.
A few more minutes of aimless lost wandering and I suddenly see a light not diffusing this fog but at least something that I can hold on to and travel slowly towards.
Hope now fills my heart but I know that this light is but a temporary reprieve from my darkness and so all my energy I place into my quest for completion.

A completely caffeine induced poem :p

This is the second time I've read this and it just slammed me in the face. This is REALLY good. It's also really DEEP, which I didn't see the first time. It is about me and lot of other ppl I'm sure who have felt this way and experienced that kind of feeling. To think this just flew out of you without a thought.

I'm impressed and stand in awe to you as usual great mistress.
I can't even find the words.

That was great, Satan. Truly. Like someone else said - I caught myself reading faster and faster and had to force myself to slow down. To enjoy the aroma in it's fullest :)
