Arrgh!! Back to school in a new year & my schedule is more hectic than Time can accommodate! My house is in a mess, I can't get any work done & life just sucks!! Couldn't find a copy of WH (not to mention COT) to catch up on & basically everything stinks like the Light-forsaken Pit of flaming Doom. I've miraculously managed to squeeze an extra spoke into the Wheel & find some time to drop by wotism.net after a long leave of absence.

Ok, I've let all my steam off so I'd better stop bitching before anyone thinks I'm a Faile-wannabe.

Aargh!!! I want to scream so loud the Great Serpent will just curl up & die!! On Tuesday afternoon there was a huge thunderstorm & I was in the washroom. When I came out, I saw that my entire room had a bad case of raining indoors. It turned out that the hole leading to the drainage pipe on the roof was blocked with debris, & the rainwater couldn't go anywhere, so it collected in the V-shaped valley formed by the roof & finally spilled over through some opening in the roof, & from there into my room! Everything left in the open was soaked, & yes, that includes my poor computer. The books are still being dried, & my system acted weird for a while. It seems to be fine now, but I have no idea what sort of damage has been done, & it probably won't show up until later. Grrr....I was wishing I could simply send all the rainwater out with a weave of Water. Sigh...
