hmm... a whole fourm set on rambling. Very nice. :)
Where to ramble, hmmm.... well, here:
Who is Radar pt.1 I'm 18 and a freshman in college. I'm currently studying engineering at the university of michigan (in michigan by the way, in case you were confused;) ). I also play and referee water polo, the best sport imo. (i'll continue later)
The weekend has been really long so far. All the profs seem to get together and find the most inconvient times to load work on people. I made the mistake of taking both the chemistry class and lab in one term. It turns my fridays into 5-6 hours of sitting in a lecture or at a table listening to people drone at me. Droning doesn't seem like the best teaching technique and it doesn't seem to work to well on me. It also makes for a long start to the weekend. Other than chem being really really annoying i'm doing ok. I sat around doing work and talking to friends on my comp. The football team lost a terribly played game and it rained all weekend. I'm sitting here thinking of things to talk about and wondering what i'm going to do w/ my life. For now i'll go to bed and sleep cuz i got to get up for class.
Peace out and have a wonderful week.

I'm really tired so this will be short.
Today(well yesterday by now) was one of those days that takes forever to get going and forever to end. Out of 7 days the only good thing about monday is that I don't have early class so i can sleep in. Today I went to my calc and history classes and then found out that the books i need to read for my history class can only be checked out for 4 hrs. at a time. Not cool at all. Its either that or buy them for the one week i need them and waste 50-75 dollars each. That and I am working on my term paper and thats not going to well. This evening I went to polo practice and got my bum kicked by swimming for 3 hrs. and i came back and hung in the chat for a while. And then proceded to do homework. Oh, and i got lost going to Mijers(for those who don't know Mijers is the place where you can find anything and everything for somewhat cheap prices). Overall it was a very long and monotonus day. Forcast for tomorrow:Better than today.
Have a great week everyone.

As predicted today was better then the average monday. I woke up and slept through my 8:00 class. Its not my fault that the prof has a monotone voice and feels the need to repeat everything 6+ times. Honest. My afternoon was pretty good. Not much happening but homework. Water Polo was pure evil today. To much swimming :(. I'm still in bad shape(note to self:dont slack in the off season). After polo and against common sense I went to chat for many an hour and am still doing homework. Tomorrow is going to be a LONG day. Oh well.
Other things I've been contemplating is cooking poptarts in the microwave. The nearest toaster is 1mi. away so I've been wondering how that will work. Also I've been contemplating the life of an infantryman on the western front in ww1. I have to write a term paper on it. That and life and all. And my uncle is in the hospital:( . Don't know what he has now and thats not cool.
Well, I'm off to forge through the annals of history and confusing math. Have a great week.

Hey people, whats up?
Today has been a really crazy day. I can't even type right now. Today I had my chem lab for 6 hrs. That went pretty well. The biggest part of my day was the water polo initation. It was crazy. a dozen very tipsy people running around campus in speedo's. It was great. Though i'm still a little off right now. Oh well. I have to work in 6 hrs or so. I have a water polo tourny to referee. I hope the marker comes off my face. I hope that you guys are having a great weekend too. I'll be back later.
Remember, SMILE

Wow, this has been a crazy week. It has been one big blur. I have exams coming up next week and all the profs feel that that means cram time.
Refereeing last weekend went well. It usually makes for a long day, cauz spending 12 hrs standing in one spot getting b****ed at by coaches isn't the most gratifying. Luckly some of them are fine. It turned out better than i thought. Ya. I also had a game on wednesday that went good. I'm finally getting the hang of this refing thing.
I had my first water polo game as a player this wednesday too. :) It was so much fun. I love playing. Unfortunatly the team didn't do so well so our coach made us scrimmage each other after the game. Sure feel like ->:shattered after that. Its fun though.
I have 4 exams coming up and a whole bunch of homework. My weekend's looking gray already.(course the forecast could have something to do w/ that:p ).
Other than school and polo and hanging i'm feeling fine. I havn't had time to brood over anything or think of much else. It's all going good.
Hope that you(yes you) doing good also.
SMILE :D

This week has been one CRAZY rollercoaster. Its like all of a sudden you hit the top and realize hey, my exam is in an hour. Then you get there and it doesn't start on time and some dumb a pulls a fire alarm in the middle of it. Thats only good before or during class. Everyone just is really ticked cauz its already 10pm and we want to leave. Then I woke up and realized that yes, another exam. That one went much better and my week is looking up.
Last night/ this morning some of my friends and i were over in one of there rooms playing Dance Dance Revolution. That is one addictive game. If you don't know what it is you are standing on a controler pad about 1m square. There is dance music playing and arrows move up the screen and you have to stomp the moves as they come. It is strangly addicting. The highlight of my week was scoring a perfect on my final round. Sad isn't it. Tomorrow should be good. I have a water polo tourny this weekend. GO BLUE. Now I'm going to work on my chem homework, grrr.
Hope you week is sunny and cheered.
PEACE!

*stumbles back in*
This has been an extreamly busily stressful time for me. I'm in the midst of school, work and life and its all one big blur. I seem to be at of those times where I step back and ask who the heck am i? You ever look in the mirror and wonder who's staring back at you? Thats kinda what it's like. It's like i'm running a race and i stop to smell the roses, i just end up farther behind. I think im just to stressed or depressed or something. I want to travel. just to get out of this little world of the everyday and go someplace different with some friends. oh well. *sigh*
I just seem to feel like rambling right now, so i think i will. I'm sure most of this stuff could go in threads but i feel like putting it here so i will.*nods*
One of those questions that everyone seems to be talking about is the well overused "what is the world coming to?". Let's just look at the most recent stuff to hit the news. For one it appears that we're going to go to war. Really now. If I were to poll people what they thought was more important: health care, education, welfare or forcefully removing a dictotor from a country on the other side of the world I think that they would have different priorities than the govenment. This tatic was used in the first in the first world war. All the governments said "lets have a nice little war to make all the people at home forget about their problems for a while". The govt. is playing on the nationalistic sentiments of people to rally support for thier cause. Maybe if we removed Sadam support for terrorism against the US would diminish, or maybe if we didn't try to get our way all the time. I remember seeing this quote in The Onion but its really so true, it said: "Bush seeks UN support for the 'US does whatever it wants plan.' " Trying to be the best is all well and good but try to work with people and maybe they wouldn't be pissed off all the time. Just because we don't see eye to eye doesn't mean they're wrong. They have the right to decided their system just as we have ours. Demoracy is great and i support it but it isn't the end all be all, it isn't for eveyone. some people just want to follow. Heck, look at our voter turn out. if we could get half, just half, it would be a astounding turnout. People take too much for granted. They take their rights for granted so much that they don't mine at all when they are taken away. the "Big Brother" is getting closer every passing year. People are just adapting to limitations. And waste. I look around just my area and wonder, just how much longer can we last? I can't imagine the amount of resources that the world has or how much we have wasted so far. I do know that we need to do something fast. I know that I contribute to it too and I try to minimize my effect but the way society is doesn't help that much. Packaging every little thing to be disposable and using who knows how many chemicals and whatnot. Even this computer that I'm using right now wasted alot of material. Its just crazy. We live in a disposable sociecy where even people are expendable. And education. Everyone says that getting a higher eduaction is the only way to be successful. Part of that's really overrated. Sure for some professions higher eduaction is necessary to work in that field but colleges are getting kinda greedy. Liberal arts is all well and good but I'm not the only one that questions the necessity of some classes. I really is crazy.
Well, i apologize for my incessent rambling and hope that you could follow it cauz' it's kinda, well, rambling. I feel a little better now, thanks for listening, er, reading. Hope that your life's looking up to the sun.
Peace and smilies :) , what more do we need?
and cauz' mike put 'um there :) :D ;)  :umm: :toussel:
*note: all the smilies could not be included cauz' all of um are too big to post :(*
