I'm stuck.
I working on three differnet pieces, and I'm stuck on all of them. :( I'm hoping by posting them in here, you can direct me to idea central. Maybe then, I could show some finished work. :D
Okay, this first one is of Elayne & Aviendha--the scene where they become first sisters. I used Poser to get the two figures (no, i'm not a proportions god) Then I went in and added skin color, hair, changed their facial expressions, and fixed some of the shading. I think I've been put off by this one because of all the skin coloring and shading I had to do (I've repainted most of it, all the time I spent in poser, trying to them in the right position almost seems a waste of time--but I suppose having models helps)
First off, I would your opinion on using poser to create characters. Do you think this is 'cheating'? Poser is not an easy program, it takes time and skill to position the characters. . .but is art?
I'm also looking for background suggestions. The book says they are on a tile floor. I believe it's white and rather plain looking tiles, which seems rather dull to me. I had though of maybe visualizing the flows of the OP around them. Any thoughts?
Also, I'm very open to criticism. Tell me what you think, and that goes for all three of the following pieces.
