That is very good stuff, chronodmin. Geez, I like it!
That poem raises a million questions, and answers just about none...
Umm, do you have more?
~wonders if No will be acceptable~

That's good poetry. "The Dark" really does give a good sense of darkness - almost a Matrixy kind of dark sorta.

LOL know the feeling, and then there is the opposite when you have nothing to do.
sitting in this office
is terribly inspiring
I must become a poet
for fear of boredom dying
I scribbled this and left it on my desk once and the office manager found it! He wasn't annoyed, but he wasn't amused either.

Chron's poem sounded like an office worker on speed.

those lines remind me of 'Office Space'
atleast....i think it was on office space where th guy hoarded all the office supplies...maybe im thinking of that movie with lisa kudrow in it where shes a temp....
but definitely the copier one cuz that one guy hates the printer/copier i forget which it is cuz it never works for him and then they take it out in a feild and smach it... :p jajaja that movie is HI-larious

THAT movie is Office Space, great great movie. The other one w/Lisa Kudrow in it is Clockwatchers, which was a terrible movie but I watched the whole thing anyway... 2 hours of my life I'll never get back.

Speaking about the dark,
I am a man who walks alone
And when I'm walking a dark road
At night or strolling through the park
When the light begins to change
I sometimes feel a little strange
A little anxious when it's dark
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have constant fear that something's
always near
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a phobia that someone's
always there

shade in, shade out
I spin, I spout
I long, I linger
I laugh, I shout
in sleep, in dreams
in life, in screams
in night, in day
in work, in play

flights of fancy linger
for the merest of a blink
kaleidoscopic chessboards
spinning in and out of sync
the rouge of harlots spreading
spreading fast across her skin
her body like an angel
....an irony of sin
sweet release please take me
to the heights! and then, I'll fall.
the seduction of a stranger
is the strongest of them all

Death walks,
Life crawls,
The grave calls,
Breath bars our path,
Sweet sorrow to Hold,
Bliss is in death's cold,
And the light of darkness,
Is bright enough,

Darkness jumps on graves
Sweeps past headstones
Runs through cemeteries
Ignores Zephyr's moans
Dances with dead trees
Follows crude paths
Creeps up on homes
Freezes birdbaths
Perverts garden gnomes
Quietens bright flowers
Awakens nightowls
Destroys light's powers
