It's also possible that RJ will do nothing with the Sharans. He has said that he does not plan to use anything and will, in fact, leave a few loose ends. Perhaps Shara just exists to make the world more plausable. You know, to provide a "mysterious elsewhere" since the Seanchan and the Aiel end up getting explained away.

Actually, I doubt that. I think that Rand or someone (maybe even the Seanchan) will invade or infiltrate Shara. We're pretty sure (i believe it was in RJ's guide) that they kill their male channelers at 18, and if Rand finds that out he will be pissed off since Saidin is clean. Who knows how, but i think it will happen.
