That's closer to what I imagined his ax to be than what most artists draw. It looks closer to what I think the book described...

actually, the axe was made by Luhhan to a mercenary, but the mercanary lacked the fundings. therefore luhhan kept it until Perrin adopted... so to make my point: it isn't intended for a Two River boy... but yes: it's simple and effective... typical two rivers

I wasn't going to look at any of the albums for hand drawn art but this piece on the cover just caught my eye at first I thought it was to small then i got a closer look it is an excellent piece of art which i give a rating of 5 stars

Really cool, the handle is long enough to shift where you grip it and thus change how you swing with it. Of course I always imagine the axe with an actual spike on one end (Longer then in pic and without the inward curve to it)

Really good photo. You have got the angle just right in this one. However I think it would have come out better at a different aperture.
